Full-time Employment Opportunities
Chief Development Officer — The Chief Development Officer will design, plan, lead and grow an innovative development effort with focus on major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, donor recognition, cross-sector partnerships/cause marketing and coordination of funding campaigns while fostering a culture of philanthropy.
IT Specialist – This position is responsible for the overall coordination and support of the council’s computer network, operating systems and telephone networks.
Part-time Employment Opportunities
Bi-Lingual Membership Specialist This position is responsible to develop, strengthen and implement programs serving Latina/Hispanic adults and girls in under-served areas throughout central Ohio; hours of work to be flexible, some evenings and weekends, maximum of 20 hours per week.
Program Facilitator Facilitate and deliver programs in schools and under-served community settings, allowing all girls the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts.
In-School Scouting Facilitator Work directly with students in assigned Columbus City Schools to provide the In‐School Scouting program of Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Council, Inc. and the Simon Kenton Council, BSA.
Summer Camp Nurse – This position is located at Camp Molly Lauman in Lucasville, Ohio from June through August. The position is an on-site healthcare provider requiring an RN, LPN or EMT (RN preferred).
Grass Cutter – This position is located at Camp Ken-Jockety from May through September. The position is responsible for mowing the grass and assisting with maintenance of properties.
Data Entry Seasonal PT Seasonal Provide quality data entry in a timely, accurate manner.
