Full-time Employment Opportunities
Vice President, Mission Delivery Responsible for setting the strategy to develop, build and deliver programs to the council’s diverse girl membership. This strategy must be integrated as appropriate with the programming and goals of GSUSA tailored to the market served by our council.
Director of Philanthropy Responsible for major gift opportunities that support the organization’s mission within a comprehensive philanthropic program. This includes identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding prospective funders, primarily individuals.
Finance Director Responsible for the financial management of the council including internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting and financial statement audits.
Marketing and Communications Manager Create and execute integrated strategic marketing communications plans with ROI measurements that align and fulfill GSOH’s mission, vision, values and strategic priorities.
Community Development Manager (Chillicothe) Develop, execute and monitor membership growth plans to re-engage, and increase, girl/adult membership in assigned communities and/or within specific demographics and achieve annual membership goal.
Product Program Specialist Provides support for all aspects of organizing and implementing the council Girl Scout cookie and fall product program strategies and campaigns.
Camp Ranger (Camp Ken Jockety) Maintain and improve Girl Scout property and equipment in accordance with council requirements and applicable safety, health and accreditation standards, to serve the program needs of Girl Scouts and other site users.
Part-time Employment Opportunities
Resource Store Associate Promote and sell CORE and council merchandise in support of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) Program.
Program Facilitator Facilitate and deliver programs in schools and community settings in under-served community settings, allowing all girls the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts.
In-School Scouting Facilitator Work directly with students in assigned Columbus City Schools to provide the In‐School Scouting program of Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Council, Inc. and the Simon Kenton Council, BSA.
Data Entry Seasonal PT Seasonal Provide quality data entry in a timely, accurate manner.
