Leaders for Tomorrow Columbus Luncheon Gathers Guests Around Virtual Campfire
The Columbus Leaders for Tomorrow: Stories by the Campfire fundraising luncheon took place on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Aladdin Shrine Center. Program host WBNS-10TV News Anchor Kristyn Hartman joined Girl Scouts and adult volunteers around an evening campfire as they shared moving stories of the impact Girl Scouting has made in their lives. Our thanks go to our sponsors, Table Captains, and supporters, for helping us build girls into the leaders our world will need in the future!
Approaching Winter Storm No Stopper for Zanesville Breakfast
The weather forecast for icy roads and snow on Friday, December 6 did not prevent speakers and guests from assembling at Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland’s Zanesville Service Center for an event that served up a generous portion of inspiration along with the breakfast buffet. Our host for the morning was Pastor Joy French of the First United Methodist Church of Zanesville. The girls and adults who shared their stories gave those present a warm reminder of how Girl Scouts benefit from the programs supported by our donors. What a great way to start the day!
Thank you to all of our sponsors, Table Captains, speakers, and guests, for making these events such wonderful showcases for all the ways we are building girls into the leaders so vital to the future of our world!
