Fall Product Program
Be Your Best You-grow!
Program dates: September 20 – October 20, 2014.
Through Girl Scouting, girls become leaders in their daily lives and prepare for bright futures. This fall don’t miss the opportunity to encourage your Girl Scout to participate in the Fall Product Program. Participating in this amazing program challenges girls to “Grow” and learn five key skills that she will use throughout her life:
- Goal Setting
- Decision Making
- Money Management
- People Skills
- Business Ethics
What is the Fall Product Program and why is it important?
The Fall Product Program is a council-sponsored money earning program that teaches girls financial literacy skills which help them grow into leaders of courage, confidence, and character. In addition to the five skills, through this program, girls can earn valuable rewards and troops can generate funds for activities early in the membership year. Here is how you can get started helping your Girl Scout grow this fall.
What’s my role?
Patronage. Assistance. Cheerleading. Encouragement.
Offer your Patronage, be her first customer and help her make a list of others to call or email. Don’t just write a check! Assist her in setting a goal that she can realistically achieve. Be her biggest Cheerleader as she gets connected to this next phase of her Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Finally, Encourage her to use the 5 skills along her path to ensure success. Just remember to P.A.C.E. yourself and let your Girl Scout take the lead in the 2013 Fall Product Program!
Who can participate?
All registered Girl Scouts whose guardians are current with their financial obligations with Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Council and who sign the financial responsibility/permission slip are eligible to participate in the Fall Product Program.
