Get Ready to Explore and kick off your Girl Scout year with the 2026 Fall Product Program!

September 24-October 18, 2026

The Fall Product Program helps Girl Scouts set and achieve goals at the beginning of the membership year by taking orders for treats and gifts such as nuts, candy, magazines, exclusive BARK Boxes, candles, and more!

100% of funds generated from this program go toward helping Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland build important skills by providing activities and opportunities through our programs.

Looking for product? Get connected with a Girl Scout near you!

How It Works

They will become an entrepreneur while motivating family and friends to support their Girl Scout journey by purchasing tasty treats and magazines.

What Girl Scouts Learn

Like the Cookie Program, the Fall Product Program provides an important ingredient for leadership by helping Girl Scouts develop the 5 Skills they need to develop as leaders in their lives, in business, and in the world.

The 5 Skills:

  • Goal Setting
  • Decision Making
  • Money Management
  • People Skills
  • Business Ethics

Should my troop participate?

The Fall Product Program is a great opportunity for your troop to practice their entrepreneurship skills, learn about an endangered species they’ll care about, and earn troops funds they can use for the coming membership year! Your troop might be ready to participate if:

  • You have more than two volunteers and three Girl Scouts registered for the 2026-2027 Girl Scout year.
  • Girl Scouts’ families and caregivers regularly read and respond to troop communications and participate in troop activities.
  • The troop has a bank account on file or has two volunteers who can go together to open one by Oct. 12. Request a bank letter here or submit your bank account information here.
  • Your Girl Scouts are excited to set and meet goals, build a nest egg for their troop, and earn great rewards!

Not sure if your troop is ready to participate? Talk to your membership manager about what you need to do or email productprogram@gsoh.org to learn more about participating as individuals instead.

What Girl Scouts Earn toggle arrow

Girl Scouts earn special patches and rewards and help raise funds for their troops to use right away or plan for future adventures!

  1. Renew or register your membership for the 2026-2027 Girl Scout year and ensure that the troop has the appropriate number of volunteers and Girl Scouts registered for the 2026-2027 Girl Scout year. Ask your membership manager if you have questions.
  2. Ensure that the troop has a bank account and ACH form on file with council and is up to date with its Troop Finance Reports.
  3. Complete the required training on gsLearn. Beginning Aug. 28
  • Login to MY GS and search the content library for “238 - 2026 Fall Product Program Troop Training.”

How Girl Scouts Get Started toggle arrow

1. Sign Up to Participate

  • Whether participating with your troop or own your own, every individual Girl Scout needs a signed permission slip and to select their program rewards. Get started here.

2. Think Like an Entrepreneur

  • Use your order card to learn about the Fall Product Program products and prices. Practice sharing your favorites and encouraging customers to donate through Care to Share.
  • Set goals for what rewards you want to achieve and which skills you will practice.
  • As you progress through the program, practice business ethics by communicating with customers, delivering orders promptly, and writing thank you notes.

3. Build Your Site

  • Most of your business will be run through a website. On Thurs., Sept. 24, go here to build and customize your site. You will build an avatar that looks like you and record a personalized message to your customers. Once set up, visit your avatar room to check your progress and rewards.

4. Promote Your Business

  • Part of being an entrepreneur is finding creative ways to promote your business to friends and family. Share your ideas with an adult and think about ways you can connect with potential customers face-to-face or through email, social media, or texting.
  • Safety Guidelines: All online participation should be led by the Girl Scout with close adult supervision. Sales links are not allowed to be posted to social media sales groups or online resale sites such as ebay or Facebook Marketplace.

5. Submit & Deliver Orders

  • On Mon., Oct. 19, enter any paper orders you received and choose your rewards in your GS Nuts & Mags site. Pick up the products you need to deliver to customers as soon as they arrive and promptly deliver them to customers.
  • Then wrap up your 2026 Fall Product Program by reflecting on what you’ve learned and how you’ve challenged yourself and enjoying your rewards! Great job, Girl Scout!
