Join this virtual training to learn more about this population of youth that we serve. A representative (and Girl Scout!) from Kaleidoscope Youth Center will talk about some of the unique pressures youth that identify in this population might experience, and help you navigate situations at camp where campers might express differences in their gender identity, want to discuss their sexual orientation, or confide in you that they're struggling with community acceptance because of how they identify. We know that many campers feel that camp is a safe space for them. We want to continue with that important tradition and make sure you have the tools to help with that. The goal of this training is to help you feel confident navigating conversations with campers and parents that are focused on supporting the individual Girl Scout as they explore their identity.
