Girl Scouts to Make Deliveries, Host Cookie Booths Now Through March 16
What: The Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland will kick off the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Season in a big way when over a million packages of cookies roll into town for delivery. The cookies will be distributed at the three-day “mega drop” event in Columbus, as well as at nine satellite locations across the council’s 30-county region.
Who: Girl Scout volunteers will drive through an assembly line at mega drop, filling their vehicles with varieties of Girl Scout cookies to prepare their troops’ orders. These cookies will be distributed by approximately 7,000 Girl Scouts who are participating in the program from around 900 troops.
Theresa Bruskin, director, Girl Scout Cookie Program, Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, will be available for media interviews.
When & Where: Thursday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. – noon Guardian Relocation, 1570 Integrity Dr. East, Columbus, OH 43209

Why: The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world's largest entrepreneurial program for girls. Every Girl Scout Cookie purchase fuels local Girl Scouts’ adventures throughout the year: exploring what interests them, discovering their passions and taking action on issues they care about. Whether they’re using their STEM skills to solve a problem, changing a law to help their community, having a courageous outdoor experience or starting an innovative nonprofit, Girl Scouts build a better future for themselves and the world. And through the Girl Scout Cookie Program – including by earning Cookie Business badges and using financial literacy skills – girls get a taste of being entrepreneurs and learn important online and offline business skills that set them up for success in life.
Details: There are three ways to purchase Girl Scout Cookies this season.
1) From a Girl Scout You Know
If you know a registered Girl Scout, reach out to her to find out how she’s selling cookies, including via the Digital Cookie online platform.
2) Online
If you don’t know a Girl Scout, visit www.gsoh.org/findcookies to purchase from a local Girl Scout troop online for shipment to your door or to donate cookies to the military through Operation Salute program.
3) At a Cookie Booth
Beginning Feb. 8, use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder app (free on iOS or Android devices) to find cookie booths in your area. Cookie booths are scheduled in all 30 counties in the GSOH area, with more than 6,000 booth time slots filled at locations such as Kroger, Walmart, Joann Fabrics, Lowe’s and many others.
